Frightening power of abuse by Huffington Post

Yesterday, all hell broke loose because I wrote a sincere story about immigration issues Sweden have. I posted the article on the new contributor platform at Huffington Post, where they emphasize that writers have editorial responsibility. In retrospect, I gave them a dozen sources to corroborate the facts in the story. But they still deleted the article, and after a while they deleted all my earlier blog posts I had written for them. This is a direct censorship of my freedom to speech.
The press responsibility is to show integrity, especially when one does not agree with the contents of the case one writes. The press should also take responsibility and stand up for injustices against the common man in the street. But in this case Huffington Post has failed its responsibility totally – and probably for political reasons. Generally speaking, this is very sad for Americans who want to know what goes on in their society. It is also alarming that one can not rely on articles written by journalists who aims more to become famous rather than being acknowledged. Journalist that always says what people like to hear shouldn’t be aloud to write for the nationwide media. To put things in perspective, I have previously written critical articles about Donald Trump, which is also published on the Huffington post, but these have been left alone without discussion of none of the editors. The difference is that editors more politically accept these articles because it’s critique of Trump. This proves again what unserious medium Huffington Post really is; they obviously just want to hear one side of the story. I’m upset, surprised and disappointed that highly paid and trained journalists in one of the largest US online newspapers can act so cowardly without a spine. The whole world can now witness what they are doing. And this has really given me an awakening. Although I have thought that Trump has raved a bit too much when he says that the press is lying. Now today, I have unfortunately a very different opinion. Media themselves, with these coward acts of Huffington Post, have now proven that Trump is right in his statements about the media, but hopefully not all of them!

“The highest mode of corruption is the abuse of power.”
Auliq Ice

I also sent mail to Arianna Huffington on the subject, and asked whether she supports the decision these editors stand for, but now after more than 24 hours of waiting, I still have not received a reply, and the article is still censored.
Meanwhile, the man in the street in America stood up and supported me in this matter, and I am eternally grateful for that. The people stood up for a more balanced and fair press-media, and for freedom to speech. But unfortunately it seems that we all have a fight ahead of us, a battle I thought was won long ago, that news should be presented in a truthful and positive way. In this case, we see the opposite - a total abuse of power in terms of censorship.
I wants’ what best for America, I have always wanted a great America, and because of that I will continue to write about what I wish could have been better in the US. I will both criticize and also salute America when deserved, because I care about the country. Challenges I want to focus on is to get rural areas in the United States to work again, make a stop for crime, violence and drug trafficking, to provide middle class significantly better conditions and much mutch more. What’s amazes me now, is that the power elite in some of the American newsrooms do not even have this important subjects on their agenda. Anyway, I'll do what I can to bring factual information to Americans who want's to read them.
Thank you all for reading!

I thanked you yesterday. I've read some of your other articles. I am a conservative and want the truth even if it doesn't agree with my politics. The old saying "give it to me straight" no bs. I think you are cut from the mold of classic journalist from yesteryear.

This has been happening for a long while, Rene. It's why Trump won and why Brexit happened. The left has gone insane. I used to be a staunch leftist, but now I cannot morally align myself with it. I guess I'm somewhere center, maybe poking a little to the right now, I have no idea. All I know, is that things like HuffPo, Buzzfeed, Occupy Democrats, The Other 99%. CNN etc ... they are so bad, so duplicitous, that they're literally making leftists turn right. I meet new people every day that are ex-leftists because they're horrified with what the left has become.

Everyone's a racist, Nazi, phobe, ist ist ist. It's ridiculous. If America is to survive, you must snuff this Soviet Union type behaviour out in your society. Sweden is on fire, and because you tried to bring attention to that because it's leftism and immigrants that are causing the problems, you get shut down. We who've been shouting about this for years are constantly muted, constantly unfriended, in exile socially, worried about police knocking on our door for hate speech.

Sweden is on fire, and nobody cares because they fetishize brown people from different countries and engage in the bigotry of low expectations. Women and children are being RAPED there, REPEATEDLY ...and feminists and leftists don't care because they might offend Muslims. They have no real sense of justice. I reject the left with all my heart and they have blood on their hands. They have zero sense of real justice. I am appalled by them.

In my country, the UK, we have had 1400 little girls raped by Muslim immigrants and nobody talks about it. They were groomed and systematically drugged and raped (Google the Rotherham scandal). The police and government covered it up because they didn't want to seem racist. That is directly what happened.

Google Charlene Downs. Her body was put in kebabs and her bones were ground up into tiling grout by Turkish Muslim take away shop owners. There was a boy in Scotland who was beaten and set on fire by 3 Muslims. It was a hate crime. A man threw a bacon sandwich at a mosque - he got prison time and was murdered in prison by Muslims (who run our prisons and force inmates to convert to Islam). There is countless other stories and problems that go ignored. Europe is on fire with this problem and nobody wants to know because the people who speak up about it are demonised, chided, mocked, spat at, hurled abuse at by leftists who are obsessed with their nutty agenda over real justice.

The HuffPo is no different in this regard. They select which voices suit their agenda and snuff out the ones that prove them wrong. They are immoral. I'm not a religious person, but if there is immorality, it's coming from the left politically. They are not the good guys they like think they are.

If you speak up and speak up loud about these injustices, just you wait and see how much vitriol will come your way from left. It'll knock you onto your behind how vicious and deluded they can get.

What matters is the truth. We must try to get as close to correct as possible.

Thank you Rene for your story.

If it weren't for the Middle East wars started and funded by governments aligned with both the Bush and Obama globalist administrations, there wouldn't be refugees fleeing their war-torn countries to the EU and North America.

One would think most refugees who have escaped the chaos and are struggling to survive in foreign lands are again traumatized by the small, but higher-profile criminal and psychopathic elements that have obviously emerged from their own displaced communities. Surely this is a horrific situation for anyone who just wants to be safe and provide for their families. It's time for these refugee communities to take a stand and work with the authorities to hold those persons who commit acts of violence accountable. Ignoring the situation or attempting to hide the crimes via political correctness, embarrassment or fear of collective retribution is not going to fix the situation.

I don't agree with Trump's manner and politics, but I don't think he's a genocidal, racist monster because the media, an actor or pundit tells me so. (Claiming that Trump is Hitler is ludicrous and insulting to anyone with half a brain.) And, yes, some of the mainstream media has exaggerated, censored and lied against Trump and his supporters.

I'm what might be considered a progressive liberal. I supported Bernie Sanders and held my nose voting for Hillary Clinton. Now I wish I hadn't voted for any POTUS candidate back in 2016 seeing how unhinged and unfair Clinton and my own fellow Sanders supporters have become.

While many persons on the left rant and rave and cheer on Trump bias/hatred and violent protests while hypocritically claiming the moral high-ground, I'd rather ditch self-induced stress and find common ground with conservatives on issues that we can all agree upon. I've been attacked by my liberal friends and acquaintances when I point out uncomfortable truths that the right rightfully acknowledges. I feel so alone and fear that the United States - and the world - is descending into madness, especially from the so-called left who are gruesomely hoping for Trump's death via assassination and a civil war. They don't see how insane such talk is and how destabilizing it would be.

Arianna Huffington and her paper should be ashamed of themselves for censoring your work. But if she and her newspaper editors are anything like my friends, family and acquaintances on the left, they have no shame. The ends justify the means to them. No matter if it is hidden truth, couched in half-truths or outright lies. They haven't a clue that such an attitude will reap the whirlwind of chaos and war on their own soil. Perhaps it is karma for not seeing things as they really are and for putting their liberal heads in the sand while the Middle East wars raged and the political and corporate elite from the left and right enriched themselves and never sought lasting solutions to social issues for the past 15 years or so.

Like Peter Fredrickson, I also want the truth along with a healthy, optimistic USA even if it doesn't agree with my politics.

@I don't agree with Trump's manner and politics,@

Manners aside, what from his actual politics/policies you disagree?

Actual, meaning that he is less than a month in the office, right?

<<<Manners aside, what from his actual politics/policies you disagree>>>

Trump has made very clear what his intentions are from his campaign speeches. Some of his promises hold promise - like infrastructure needs, jobs for US citizens, and dealing constructively with the inner city problems and reigning-in of the DC lobby-culture that benefits elites and foreign governments to the detriment of American citizens. I'm not so sure Trump's people can fix or offer a better healthcare package, or have tax cuts and infrastructure programs, but that remains to be seen. Same for all his promises.

The one policy that concerns me most is the rabid anti-Muslim stance President Trump and his people seem to have. I do think radical terrorism must be dealt with. I also think those Muslims who foment violence against Jews and non-Muslims, want strict Sharia Law in countries that have more enlightened laws, and rape or demean women and children should be called out, prosecuted, imprisoned and then deported after serving their time for criminal behavior.

I just don't subscribe to the belief that all Muslims are inherently evil due to their religion and must be taken out along with the Islamic radicals and terrorists. Many conservatives I know think this is the only solution. They cite the Bible or the hatred that is espoused by radical Muslims to god's chosen people as their justification.

These Middle East wars started with 9/11 - which was supposedly masterminded by a former CIA asset Osama Bin Laden - and have been a travesty from both the Bush and Obama Administrations. I fear that the end game here for the neocons and globalists - who I admit control a lot of liberals - is to first demonize, then annihilate an entire people - and take over their lands and natural resources.

The 2 religions derived from Judaism are Christianity and Islam. All 3 religions have been run by pathological leaders in the past and present. The Christian Inquisition was horrific. Eventually there was a much-needed reformation.

I hope a reformation comes for the Muslim people as the political/religious leaders from Saudi Arabia and other countries appear to be pathological. This doesn't mean all Muslims deserve to be punished with one war after another. Same goes for Jewish people whose unscrupulous leaders have betrayed them in the past and most probably the present for gain. Look at creeps like Soros whom I used to think was benevolent due to his funding projects I once agreed with. Then I did some research and saw the old "60 Minutes" interview with Soros. Games are being played with deadly consequences on both sides. Who really benefits from the turmoil?

These Middle Eastern wars and refugee situations stem from the Pentagon and its allies. They didn't stop with Afghanistan and Bin Laden. Incessant wars feed the military/industrial complex and cause freedoms to disappear. Many conservatives I know revere the Patriot Act and believe the authorities who tell them lies like Saddam had weapons of mass destruction so we need to destroy the entire country. Then comes Libya, Syria, and soon Iran. Again - who does it really benefit?

Aggression against Islamic countries only creates more terrorism from desperate and unhinged persons who come from besieged communities that deal with bombings from the outside and negative influences from within. There must be a better solution than eventual genocide or forced conversion to a reformed Christianity that many on the right espouse.

It would be great if Trump turned out to be great. Yet I have doubts. Trump is dealing with forces who want to continue these war games in the Middle East and possibly Russia! Some of the people Trump surrounds himself with are most likely a part of this.

BTW, I'd like to clarify my original post. As usual I wrote too fast and too much and forgot to insert a thought. I meant to write "I wouldn't hold my nose and vote for Hillary". Hillary's lies regarding Benghazi and her laughter at Kaddafi's death disgusted me. So does her so-called charity work with the Clinton Foundation. Despite Sander's endorsement for Hillary Clinton, I reluctantly voted Jill Stein. Wish I hadn't voted for the POTUS at all. Stein was being played by the Hillary campaign and shut down the vote investigation once Michigan turned out to have had some questionable voting fraud...from the left. :-O

It is truly amazing to what depth liberal sympathizers are sinking over this issue. One commenter on facebook said, of the wayback machine web archive of your deleted article, "his writing is full of grammatical errors". I responded, "OK, you go ahead and write in Norwegian". The snide continued. Bravo René! Don't let the bastards grind you down.

Excellent article... keep up the good work. Main stream news medias have been abusing their "privileges" for many years to the point of complete corruption and self-deception thinking now they actually have the right to controlling public opinion.

To be totally blunt.... they have been pissing in their own soup and now they must pay the price...... Trump can't do his job until he hobbles the mainstream news medias and he is doing that right now. HuffPoo is the absolute worst of the bunch IMHO.

Thank you all good people,
In my opinion it's healthy to disagree with others, and to stand up for your own views ans values. And it's totally okay to have other meanings than others. But when institutions(media houses) and others lies to win a discussion and on top of that censure other meanings, then it's time to say no, no and to stop them. Again, thank you for great comments :)

So did the cowards at the Huffingpaint Compost get back to you on why they censored you yet? I'm guessing no, because cowards won't ever explain themselves or defend their actions! It is so clearly a political decision and I will never read anything produced by them again! And the really ironic thing is they never censored that provocateur who last year wrote the article for them titled "Sorry liberals, a violent response to Trump is as logical as any". They don't even allow most comments anymore since the people just won't believe their garbage and they want to be able to hoodwink the few that aren't thinking for themselves, which wouldn't be possible if those folks found the comment section!

You have a blog, you don't need them. It's an echo chamber anyways. They push an anti-freedom, anti-human globalist agenda and it couldn't be more transparent. You should make some Youtube videos if you haven't already! Mark Dice tried for years to get recognition in the MSM and as soon as he went independent he blew up huge!

Unfortunately this has become the norm throughout major parts of the world. In Europe this is how media in general are acting. This is what is called Political Correctness - and has become one of the greatest diseases in todays world.
